This is the wallhanging(or quilt) I've been working on. I'm not sure where exactly I will put it, as it doesnt match my room. Another addition for the hope chest, I guess. (It's getting a little full.)My Auntie Diane was so gracious as to hold a few classes for some ladies at church that wanted to learn how to quilt! (Thanks!) It was alot of fun! I'm almost done, I just need to quilt 5 more hearts and stitch the edging.
It's nice to be able to do things like sewing. Not many women sew anymore. It's quite sad come to think of it. When you tell someone you sew, they look at you like you're an alien and think you're incredible!! It cracks me up! I'd like to do my part to keep some old 'past times' alive, and my brain active. Now I need to tackle the quilt I've been working on for the last 3 years!!! Hopefully there will be a picture of that on here soon too. I'm really excited about that one. Stay tuned!
