Poem
Thank you Lord,
For the sun, moon and stars,
Juniper, Pluto and Mars,
The rain, the snow, and the way the wind blows.
For creatures great and small,
I love them all!
Oceans, creeks and streams,
And every different flower, bush and tree.
Thank you, Lord, for making me,
Fearfully and wonderfully made am I,
Carefully molded in your own image,
For your praise and pleasure.
Thank you, Lord,
For sending your Son,
To live, to teach, to die.
Shedding His own blood,
For our sins to buy.
A gift of eternal life,
To all who believe.
Thank you, Lord,
For my country tis of Thee,
Columbus sailing the oceans blue,
America, home of the free!
Faithful were our founding fathers,
One nation under God are we.
Thank you, Lord,
For the life you’ve given,
My home, my friends and family.
For all this,
Shows your tremendous love to me,
Which is why I thank you, Lord.
For the sun, moon and stars,
Juniper, Pluto and Mars,
The rain, the snow, and the way the wind blows.
For creatures great and small,
I love them all!
Oceans, creeks and streams,
And every different flower, bush and tree.
Thank you, Lord, for making me,
Fearfully and wonderfully made am I,
Carefully molded in your own image,
For your praise and pleasure.
Thank you, Lord,
For sending your Son,
To live, to teach, to die.
Shedding His own blood,
For our sins to buy.
A gift of eternal life,
To all who believe.

Quote of the Week!
Happiness keeps you Sweet,
Trials keep you Strong,
Sorrows keep you Human,
Failures keep you Humble,
Success keeps you Glowing,
But Only God Keeps You Going!

Success keeps you Glowing,
But Only God Keeps You Going!

Quote of the Week!
'Be instant in season, out of season...' 2 Timothy 4:2
'The season does not refer to time, but to us--'be instant in season, out of season', whether we feel like it or not. If we do only what we feel inclined to do, some of us would do nothing for ever and ever. The proof that we are rightly related to God is that we do our best whether we feel inspired or not. '~O. Blast from the Past
Darya, Brynn, Bride-to-be Chrissy, Me
This past Friday I went to my friend Chrissy's bridal shower. I was able to
catch up with my neighborhood, childhood friends which we used to spent just about everyday together,
and it was just great being back together again!!
I was also able to cater some of the food for the shower, which I was thrilled to do.
Cant wait til the wedding!

Heart to Heart
My Auntie Diane was so gracious as to hold a few classes for some ladies at church that wanted to learn how to quilt! (Thanks!) It was alot of fun! I'm almost done, I just need to quilt 5 more hearts and stitch the edging.
It's nice to be able to do things like sewing. Not many women sew anymore. It's quite sad come to think of it. When you tell someone you sew, they look at you like you're an alien and think you're incredible!! It cracks me up! I'd like to do my part to keep some old 'past times' alive, and my brain active. Now I need to tackle the quilt I've been working on for the last 3 years!!! Hopefully there will be a picture of that on here soon too. I'm really excited about that one. Stay tuned!

**SNOW!!**
Chickened Out

It's that time of year again. Time where people go crazy gnawing on some poor little chicken's wings watching big men in tights run around chasing and crashing into each other. Yes, SuperBowl time. And this also means that it's wing cooking time! UGH. We sell so many that we have to cook wings overnight to keep up with it all! And this year it was my turn, again.
From 12am-730am I cooked and fried and fried and cooked. By 2am I'd already fried 520lbs of wings. By 3/330am the Starbucks Double Shot, and 2 Frappucinos started wearing off(but they definitely got me through!!) and my wrists and arms started to give way.
Surprisingly, the night went by fast, and by the end we'd cooked a total of over 1,300lbs of wings!!!! That's about 235 5lb buckets!!
But I was able to witness to my co-worker for about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes that night!! I was able to give him the plan of salvation briefly along with covering the Bible from Genesis to Revelations! Ha! He was very attentive. :) So although I'd rather of not lost a night's sleep while having to cook wings, I was glad that I was able to be a witness. I guess all things DO work together for good...according to HIS purpose!
And now, I'd rather not see another chicken wing for a very, very long time!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope you've all made resolutions, and that we'll all be able to stick to them! I really hope this year is a good one, I hope you all learn new things, go new places, soak it and everyone in, (life's too short) and all draw closer to the Lord.
I know this picture doesnt really have anything to do with New Years-except that I took it on New Year's Eve-but I just thought it was a really cool picture. There used to be a beautiful house along with this chimney, but they tore it down, to make way for some more over-commercialized space for this state, I'm sure. argh. But anyway, I thought it was neat that someone came along and decorated it! This just might be next(this)year's Christmas cards.
I wish you all the best this coming year, stay in touch!!
ps-357 days til Christmas!! haha...
